Man Ray, a forerunner of both the Dada and Surrealist movements, was born today: August 27th. A prolific photographer and artist, he also coined the term “readymades” to signify found objects.
Two of his most celebrated lovers were: Kiki de Montparnasse, a famous Parisian singer and bohemian and Lee Miller, also a photographer in her own right. The photo of Lee Miller is for debauchette. Rightly so, she has a thing for Lee Miller’s jaw line. (F/lthyGorgeousTh/ngs)
